Vingroup Group invests $ 1.2 trillion in smart electronics manufacturing plant

(HNMO) - On November 23, Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park Management Board and Vingroup Corporation held the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation agreement to build and develop Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park.

The two sides agreed that in the period 2018-2020 with a vision to 2025, Vingroup will invest in the production of hi-tech products in Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park. To develop, develop and produce hi-tech industries; housing development, trade and services.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Quynh, Deputy Director of Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park Management Board and Mr. Nguyen Viet Quang, Vice President and General Director of VinGroup, signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

Right after the signing ceremony, Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park Management Board handed over the investment decision to Vinsmart Research and Production JSC under Vingroup to implement the project " intelligent in Hoa Lac HTP.

The project has a total investment of nearly VND1,200 billion, which will be implemented soon after being granted investment decision and is expected to come into operation in the second quarter of 2019. After going into operation, the project will Production of 3 million to 4 million smart electronics products per year for domestic market and export.

Then, the signing ceremony of the Principle Agreement between Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park Development Company Limited and Vingroup Group was held on the lease of technical infrastructure in Software Park, Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park, marking the Group's initial investment in software research and development; and the signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding between Vinaconex Corporation and Vingroup Corporation for lease of technical infrastructure in CNC 2 and Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park.
